A Renewed Place for America

The world looked on today as Joe Biden took office as the 46th President of the United States of America. The world looked on today as Kamala Harris, the first woman of South Asian/black heredity took office as Vice President of the United States of America. The world took a big breath and sigh of relief today as the hopes for peace in America, for peace among people and peace for the planet may have a chance.
Never in my lifetime have I ever been so inspired to see my country fight for its honor and for the basic ideals which have always stood for the America we have been and the America we need to be in the eyes of so many, in the hearts and minds of the world’s people.
Are we a perfect nation, are we a perfect people…no. But, we are hopefully moving forward as a nation, as a world, to hold up the common decency and respect all people deserve.
We only have one planet and America needs to be a leader in the salvation and respectful attitude to ensure the survival of our peoples, animals, waters, plants and all living things.
